    Ford's not so bad

I used to drive a 1992 Chevy Caprice. The ugly whale tail one. It was white and had: Cop car wheels. Cop car rims. And looked exactly like a cop car because it did have the police package offered at the time. The car was a blast to drive as I would get on the expressway, head to the left lane...

Stuff you want Ford to fix in the next software update

I have had that happen after an update. The sound changes to a ding-dong doorbell type of sound. The bongos seem to have a mind of their own. Mine returned after a couple of restarts.

    Thoughts on this Corvette concept?

It reminds me of a car from the early 70's that was called "The Everything Car" and was a conglomeration of multiple car bodies all attached to one chassis. At least in NYC it was a regular in parades.

    Ford's not so bad

It takes a little getting used to but most things are reasonably easy to figure out. This is my first car with high tech electronics and while I was weaned on mechanical oil pressure gauges and the like, I am thoroughly enjoying the high tech systems. Don't even get me started on adjusting the...

My Turn To Play The Idiot...

So I have been noticing a slight vibration in the steering wheel felt mostly in sport mode. I thought it had to do with the "divots" in the road near the center and on the edges so i didn't pay much attention to it. Today I noticed this icon on the screen turning red at the same time I felt the...

Road Trip Kit - What would you bring on a 1000 mile (each way) road trip

Add to the list: 1. Duct tape or equivalent 2. Zip ties, heavy duty size. 3. Multitool. The tape and zip ties are useful for securing items that might get damaged or simply work their way loose.

    FRONT Jack points

I think that is going to be the best solution for me. Which is better, the standard or low profile? I don't intend to lower the car. TIA.

    FRONT Jack points

Any ideas? Should I just install the Steeda low profile rails? TIA!

    FRONT Jack points

So this is great for jacking up the car. For me, I have blocks on the pinch welds and also a puck on my jack. So my question is, if I jack up at the pinch weld, say the front right side, where do I place the jack stand? I'm still not clear on this one.

Does your S650 have interior rattles?

No rattles for me either. GT Premium 401a, Auto, AE and I drive on miserable roads as well. Build was January 2024.

Dark Horse Front Jack Stands location $

I am somewhat in the OP situation. So I have aluminum pinch weld gizmos installed and they work well for jacking the car up. My question is, ok once the car is jacked up, where do I place the jack stands?

    S650 Annoying noises and rattles

I probably shouldn't jinx myself, but this is the tightest Mustang I have ever driven. My 2003 GT vert had a buzz behind the dash that I could never fix. I had the cluster, A/C controls and everything else removed and sitting in my lap as I drove and still had the problem. I finally gave up and...
