I used to drive a 1992 Chevy Caprice. The ugly whale tail one. It was white and had:
Cop car wheels.
Cop car rims.
And looked exactly like a cop car because it did have the police package offered at the time.
The car was a blast to drive as I would get on the expressway, head to the left lane...
I have had that happen after an update. The sound changes to a ding-dong doorbell type of sound. The bongos seem to have a mind of their own. Mine returned after a couple of restarts.
It reminds me of a car from the early 70's that was called "The Everything Car" and was a conglomeration of multiple car bodies all attached to one chassis. At least in NYC it was a regular in parades.
It takes a little getting used to but most things are reasonably easy to figure out.
This is my first car with high tech electronics and while I was weaned on mechanical oil pressure gauges and the like, I am thoroughly enjoying the high tech systems.
Don't even get me started on adjusting the...

So my question is, if I jack up at the pinch weld, say the front right side, where do I place the jack stand?
I'm still not clear on this one.
I am somewhat in the OP situation. So I have aluminum pinch weld gizmos installed and they work well for jacking the car up. My question is, ok once the car is jacked up, where do I place the jack stands?
I probably shouldn't jinx myself, but this is the tightest Mustang I have ever driven. My 2003 GT vert had a buzz behind the dash that I could never fix. I had the cluster, A/C controls and everything else removed and sitting in my lap as I drove and still had the problem. I finally gave up and...
