Agreed - the install wasn't bad. The most difficult part was popping off the plastic cover. I don't have plastic pry tools so I had to use a screwdriver and push from the other side. I ended up breaking a non-essential clip on each cover but that may be due to the cold. I did it on a 30 degree day.
There is an etsy store that sells a guide hook that replaces the stock guide cover. I helped my mother install it this weekend. The only downside I can think of is that it may be difficult to remove the seatbelt from the guide once it's installed...
