Provided you have decent credit history, most finance companies are looking for you just to have a decent loan to value (ie, car costs more than you are financing). Sounds 'obvious/easy' until you tack on extended warranty, sales tax, docs, dealer installed accessories, etc. that you need to...
Well, I'm hoping they were just being dumb/not caring about the order sheet and it'll be fine when it comes in. If not, I'll bid them farewell and order another one someplace else or find a different car. They have my deposit slip attached to an x-plan pin, the EAA rebate, a copy of my EAA...
Yes it's been there, the dealer said they could not pull it up in the order system internally though. It looked like a fairly antiquated system to be honest, it certainly wasn't as nice as the build and price. For instance when I swapped to the GT they were having a problem because the EB PP...
Well, when I ordered my car a few weeks ago, the plan pricing was not yet available in the ordering system. I don't know if that's been populated yet.
As far as refundable deposits... there are pretty specific legal issues regarding NOT refunding a deposit. Generally they have to make you...
You will have to talk with the dealer. Generally you are supposed to disclose x-plan before ordering/whatever. I've gotten pissy attitudes after mentioning it after a test drive instead of walking in (presumably so I could be treated worse) because that dealer was shitty anyway.
1) I believe that the EAA rebate says it can be used with most things, but the cash does not? I thought someone asked a dealer sometime recently.
2) I just printed out my membership information page to give to my dealer, but EAA does mail you a card (like 7-14 days I think).
Sorry, no, I just meant even if you were getting a pin as an MCA member, it's worth it to have the EAA membership to get the extra rebate.
Presumably you can just generate a new pin with the EAA membership (and perhaps you have to?).
Began looking at the new mustang, logged into the X-Plan site with my EAA membership and there's an additional $750 rebate right there... good through 1/3/15.
May be an option to grab a rebate over booklet shenanigans.
