Does anyone know what fluid Ford is putting in these gearboxes at the factory? I think they are coming to Ford dry because they have to hook up the cooler lines.

My gear box is very stiff to shift. I have a 1,000 miles on it and it doesn't feel any better from when it was new. Has anyone had this issue and changed the fluid and got better results?

All the waxes I have say don't use on vinyl. What are you guys using? Thanks

At 700 miles I had my mechanic do the first oil change and had him pull the fill plugs on the gearbox and diff to check the levels. Both where good on fluid level but he put his pinky in the hole on the diff and it came out with minute shavings. The fill plug also had some metal on it. I know...
