so I just got my car back from the recall inspection, they said everything is fine the techs didn't have to do anything. However, after I got my car back, the transmission feels much better, almost night and day difference. It feels "tighter" when I shift and no more 1st to 2nd shift jerk. I...
Finally got an update from Steeda, they're sending me some sleeve isolators. Apparently, they were supposed be packaged with the springs. Not sure how true that but whatever lol
I was installing the air deflectors on the performance pack the dealer forgot to install so I loosened up the bolts marked in the pic thinking I needed to remove them, but the aeros already had a pre cut holes for those two bolts. I have no idea what these two bolts are for so I don't even know...
hey, just a FYI did you check your springs for any signs of contact (scuffs/scratches/paint removal). I sent these pics to Steeda support and they think this may be the issue. They're currently checking with the engineers and they'll get back to me.
Honestly, I couldn't even tell a difference, but all I wanted was a mild drop without messing with any of the stock characteristics which is exactly what I got other than the "clunking" issues.
I had a mechanic install Steeda Minimum Drop lowering springs (0.75 in front, 0.375 in rear) along with their new bump stops on my otherwise stock '24 PP GT, but every time I drive over a speed bump/dip or any potholes I can't avoid, I hear a light "clunk" from the front wheels. I took the car...
Yup, saw this and tried it myself. It did help, but the gap still isn't perfect. I'm starting to wonder if this is a installation/fitment issue and I need to remove the bumper completely and reinstall again.
I find that the cars cabin is generally warm inside and yes I made sure the AC unit is off. Even where I live in SoCal where it's around low 60s currently I end up having to turn on the AC. I never have to crank up the cold air during winter in previous cars and I'm wondering if this is just...
Hey, just curious what specific panel gap issues did you have and how did they fix it? I have a mild gap on the right side where the hood meets the bumper, and the dealerships auto body shop said it's probably better if they leave it alone as they might make it worse. Kind of ridiculous
Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this and if it's supposed to be normal. There's tapping noise coming from the engine bay, it almost sounds like two plastic trim pieces tapping against each other. As far as I can tell, there's no rythym to it; it'll tap once or twice - pause - then...
I've noticed the regular Dark Horse splitter (not the performance pack splitter) is the exact same as the GT performance pack splitter. So I figured the Dark Horse PP splitter would fit on the regular GT as well. I kinda doubt Ford would put all this effort to make these parts not fit each...
Will this cause any issues? When I was watching videos to learn, everyone pretty much said you always need to press down the clutch all the way before shifting.
Anyone have advice for a new manual driver and how to shift to 2nd gear smoother. Shifting from 1st to 2nd is always rough, there's always some jolt to it. I have the same issue shifting from 2nd to 3rd, but there's a lot less jolt compared to 1st > 2nd. Shifting anywhere else feels smooth...
