just got darkhorse back from regular interval maintenance (15k mile service) at Ford dealer & had rear knuckle inspected for recall (no issues). Now, every time I drive the car, the trunk opens randomly at speed and I have to pull over to manually close it. this only started to happen after my...
Z28 camaro was announced over a year ago in May 2023 and since then nothing else/further has come out about it. There is no recent announcement from any reputable source for a new Camaro so to say 'the cancelled camaro is back' is misleading clickbait
I've never purchased a dedicated track wheel setup so any input/recommendations appreciated. stock wheels are fine but I'm looking to get something lighter and better performing on track but still usable on street. budget is about $5k
currently considering this setup to replace the staggered...
Linear throttle response is helpful on track to minimize wheelspin out of corner exit for example, when you’re on edge of grip and a small throttle input won’t overwhelm the tires, whereas in “normal’ mode the throttle response is less linear it would be more easy to ruin the corner exit and...
was similarly confused as my darkhorse base also missing puddle lamps which I thought were included based on the car configuration. Sounds like it’s just a misprint on their marketing materials
Dbl check the alignment is good- mine and few others were off upon delivery. Also- if you have security package- make sure you get the wheel lock key. That should save you a few unnecessary trips back to dealer. Congrats on the new car
I swapped my tires for snow tires this past weekend. Didn’t fold down the seats but fit 2 in trunk, 1 in back seat, 1 in passenger seat. Fits easily for 275/255 setup
Just passed 1k miles in my DH non handling pack 6MT and am averaging 13.2mpg over those 1k miles. City driving makes up about 75% of my driving but I haven’t pushed the revs over 5k during the break-in period so a bit surprised how bad my mpg is. Most of time I’m driving in slippery mode or...
I’ve only put about 100 miles on it and I don’t have the handling package. Tires look fine as far as I can tell. No idea if my car came in via plane, train or otherwise. My dealer has said they’ll fix it it’s just taking some time to get an appointment.
I just got winters for my darkhorse non handling pack which I think is the same wheel dimensions as gt pp- pirelli sotozerro II 275 rear & 255 up front.
Took delivery of new darkhorse today with delivery miles on it. Within first 5 min of driving i noticed alignment was quite a bit off. To get the car to go straight I have to have steering wheel tilted right a noticeable amount - about 2 o’clock instead of 12.
Any others encounter any delivery...
