I left it disassembled so they could paint each piece. The body shop said it would come out better that way. No issues after I got it back from paint. Went together easily and the thickness of the paint didn’t bother the fitment when it was done.

So just FYI… the Kicker 48CWR104 CompR 10” sub will not fit. Depth is fine but the odd shaped “bulge” inside the enclosure obstructs the large diameter driver/magnet on the very edge. Guess I’ll go with the “recommended” Pioneer 10”. Still looking forward to the improvement!

It’s the Ford Racing factory brace with the included plate (M-20201-MA). My body shop popped the rivets on the back and painted the brace and reinstalled the factory plate. They painted the reinforcing mount piece as well but most of that is covered.

I did Giant Panda ~$250/set on my S650. Leather over leather. I wanted a bit more color on the interior vs the all black. A pain to install but looks great once you’re done. Photos (ignore the rear child seat).
