Ignored ... what a good idea.
  4. Ford Mustang Dark Horse vs. Dodge Charger Daytona EV

I didn't not accept it, I simply don't care who won. I'm not buying a Dodge Charger, even if it beat a Z06. I'm merely defending the idea that questioning the test process is valid when marketing companies are involved.
  5. Ford Mustang Dark Horse vs. Dodge Charger Daytona EV

It's a fact of life. Companies and their marketing departsments do it all the time.
  6. Ford Mustang Dark Horse vs. Dodge Charger Daytona EV

Because sometimes the test is setup to favor one over the other. It was designed to produce a certain conclusion. I'm not saying that the case here.
  7. Ford Mustang Dark Horse vs. Dodge Charger Daytona EV

Listen to the wrap up at the end, both said they'd take the Mustang home.
  8. How would you handle this ppf install? Is this an acceptable install to you?

My 2024 GT was the cheapest car in their shop, by a factor of at least 2X.
  9. How would you handle this ppf install? Is this an acceptable install to you?

I got the whole front clip done, the door pillars, mirrors, behind the tires for kicked-up stones, and 35% tint on the side and back windows for $2500.
  10. How would you handle this ppf install? Is this an acceptable install to you?

100% wrong. Mine was done from large sheets, cut freehand, and all of the corners are wrapped around. It's Stek wrap. I had two prices when I was looking to get mine done. The template/plotter install and a custom install. I chose custom. It was $250 (IIRC) more for the front-end.

  15. Cheap temporary inner fender hole solution

I bought this rubber sheet: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0D4Q133TP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8 Used a template posted on this site, and installed it with a couple of extra push pins. It's a pretty good/factory looking solution. The solution is outlined here...
  16. 87 Octane

This is a good example of what works for one doesn't work for the other, we're not even in the same area. I'm not garaging my car until summer either. My winter daytime highs aren't in the upper 50s or 60s. We're about to get 6-10" of snow and my regular startup temps are in the low 20s...
  17. 87 Octane

Yep, I do live and learn too. I've run ForScan, data logging, looking at the differences between 87 and 93. Specifically looking for things like spark knock. I made my decision based on my fuel, driving habits, and the data in ForScan.

  19. 1000 mile oil change

Lots of people prefer to get the factory fill out fairly quickly because it can have a higher wear metal content .... since it's in during the break in. My factory fill had high Silicon levels, which is likely just RTV type sealants and not air filter issues, but it's good to note that in case...
