The speedos in cars are probably more precise today than they ever have been, but in years past they used to vary by as much as 5% from actual ground speed. I don't know why they don't just display GPS speed on the dash and have referenced wheel speed as a backup option for lack of GPS signal...
Use Waze with Android Auto or Caraplay. It displays a GPS speedometer on the map that you can use to validate your current speed on the dash. It probably won't be off far enough to care.
Haven't tried changing tire size on mine with the Forscan, but definitely looked at the option in the menu. If someone else doesn't report back, I can try on on mine and let you know the results in a day or 2.
If I found anything like that in my brand new car I would be furious. Sadley it was probably installed by a jack job installer and the wiring harness that it is spliced into is trashed. Also pretty unsure if it is a tracker it needed to be disclosed prior to the deal being done.
As other have...
As just about everyone has stated. It is a best guess based on past driving styles. I wouldn't worry about it. You know what you are actually getting per tank on average and if something drastically changes then it may be cause for concern, unless you know that you have been a lead foot lary. In...
Because they didn't want to admit they F'd it up the first time the did the alignment and didn't do it correctly. Alignments don't just "drift". Components wear out, we hit potholes and objects in the road that cause pressed in components and bushings to shift. Those are the only way alignments...
Yep, ordered when the order banks opened on 27 March 2023. Didn't take delivery until 6 November 2024. So really 19 months. Part of my patience was the fact that I was going through an ugly divorce after ordering so the timing worked out that the car delivered 3 months after the divorce was...
Extremely happy with mine. Have the HP without the recardos. Love the heated and cooled seats option. Daily commuter that is fun to get into turns with. When the salt gets laid down on the roads is about the only time it gets parked. I debate on a Whipple on a regular basis, but I am pushing the...
Inform them that the "steer ahead" is not within spec. If they refuse to fix it, get FoMoCo involved.
Yes tire pressures being off will cause the car to drive a little off. Good news is you can read that in the dash.
They just did a quick check to say it was good and didn't actually go...
That is a 3D rendering. In real life they look worn out from day one. I have a set in my garage that are going back on the car in a couple of weeks. I took delivery of the car in November, took them off with 300 miles on them because of winter. If not beat on these tires should last between...
That's what I am offering. A new home to get well used by another Mustang owner. 2-3 hundred for shipping is fair to me for tires that still have 70-80% life left in them. If I was local I would be willing to pay that for them straight to the man.
I mean I am willing to pay for the shipping to MD if you are going to throw them away, assuming that the shipping isn't more than a couple hundred bucks.
Or 12000 miles whichever comes first. My DH tracks straight, but the steering wheel sits about 3-4° off to the left. Drives me bonkers. Waiting until I put the stock tires back on in a couple of weeks for the warmer weather before I take it in though.
The TPMS will need to be programmed to the vehicle every time you change wheels with different TPMS sensors. You can buy the TPMS tool from Amazon for around $30-35. Plenty of YouTube how to videos on the process with the tool in hand.
