Official response from Forscan on the 2.3.64 vs 2.3.65 display differences.

Yep! Got the same response. Will try it out tonight. BCM walk away lock still is an issue as it doesn’t appear in easy mode ( possible my Mustang doesn’t support it) so we shall see.
In my experience, it usually takes a day or two for a response. They will usually send you a test build to install to verify the problem has been resolved and then issue a new release on the website.
Morning! It doesn’t hurt if you want to contact them as well. I will say that if you are using the free 2 month license then you likely won’t get any response… They are usually good in responding to people with a paid license.
Update to the update....
PCM reads fine with 2.3.64 but BCM is still cut off at 96. No walk away lock capability. Should hear back from Forscan in the morning. I got my SST though!
The PCM is locked for tuning but others have been able to successfully edit the lines I am looking to edit. So either Ford made a change to later production 24s and into 25 or there is an issue with Forscan 2.3.65. Lets hope its a Forscan issue. I am contacting them to see what can be done.
Just connected today for the first time and ran into the same issue... I want to enable SST for an EcoBoost without paddles but am only getting 162-165. Car is a Job 2 2024 (06/24 build).
BCM lines past 96 also do not appear so no walk away lock capability...
Did you contact the Forscan Team?
The other issue is that in 2018 there were quite significant incentives that further lowered the price. The MSRP of my GT was $39k even though I paid $31k for it (plus tags, tax, etc..). It wasn't uncommon to see new GTs listed for $28-29k. An EB could be had for under $20k... So while the MSRP...
So realistically you are not walking out the door of a dealer with a BASE model EB for less then $34k.... I paid that much for my BASE GT in 2018... IMO they have priced alot of potential buyers out with these figures.
I honestly wouldn't complain if something like this was developed.... Follow Dodge in making a one size fits all "sedan" that can be either 2 or 4 door (hasn't been shown yet for dodge but likely will be the case) with a "hatch" for more usability. This is the only way I see the mustang living...
It is honestly nice seeing cars sit on the lot finally. Gives me hope that while MSRP might climb, incentives and discounts will finally be a thing again… While a 2018 MSRP was $37k, you could routinely find one for$28-29k.
So how do you think they are making these cars? They need the tooling to make them as well no? My point is that the inner structure of a S550 is likely very similar if not identical to a 24 so it would be EASIER for ford to take a 23 to make a 24 for show as that would not require additional...
So......
The roofline has not changed for 24 (the body line was lowered 10-15mm), the quarter panel outer skin is what changed and is welded to the inner structure, c-pillar is part of the quarter panel.
It would absolutely be possible for a MY22-23 to be rebodied (or rather have 24 outer...
Based off of what the chief engineer said in the podcast, I doubt we will see much of an HP increase over the current HO (330hp) model. Sounds like the upgrades were focused on making the engine more efficient for emissions. So maybe a bit more MPG and HP that would match the HO model. Power...
I am tempted to go with a S650 EB because of these upgrades.... I already have the V8 so the S650 would be my daily. 330hp with 30+mpg (highway) would be nice!
They likely have yet to finalize the base interior materials/options which is why we have no official pictures. Personally, I think the separate screens look better then the fake one piece glass with two displays...
