Tonight I crossed the 1,000 mile mark on my GT. Now I didn't notice anything change for my RPM gauge like it was "unlocked" or anything. Kinda wondering how I can tell if anything really changed performance wise? Anyone know what I should be able to notice?

If you did a proper break in, you won't notice anything but peace of mind knowing your engine is ready to rip.

^ proper break in is determined by nothing breaking.

Congratulations on reaching that milestone.

I'm not aware of any programmed limits that expire after 1000 mi / 1600 km.

There are suggested driving styles within the Owner's Manual. For example, 6G cars were often advised not to perform any track time or WOTs until past 100 mi / 160 km. And to drive in certain ways the first 1000 mi / 1600 km.

Regardless of mileage, the 6G GT is speed-limited to like 155 mph / 250 kmh, the GT500 and maybe the GT350, 189 mph / 305 kmh.

For those that are unaware, and probably better to spawn a new thread - but speed limited. Where is it and how is it controlled/managed. I mean, can joe hacker reach over and unplug a wheel sensor or does he have to go rooting around in the computer.

I've had the s650 to 151mph so far. My 2015 GT s550 hit 170 mph with a tune deleting the governor. Really hoping we can tune the governor put of the s650s soon.

How’d it do? How long did it take / feel to get there? Did it start to get floaty? Front, rear?
It was rather quick, much faster than my 6spd auto s550 was hitting it. No floaty feeling at all, was expecting some though. The only reason I didn't actually see if the governor is 155mph is because it felt too smooth for the speed it was doing and kinda freaked me out because I haven't been that fast in a year. One day soon I'll make a trip to Mexico and see how she does 0 to 155mph.
