2024 gt mustang conv DASHBOARD wont turn on

I have now had 4 issues with my dashboard, the drivers instrument panel completely off, and last week the right side ( music/ map/ ac panel side) wouldnt not turn on. each time after the car was off for more than 10-15 minutes it worked again. My car is was bought new August 10 2024. is there a known issue and is there a way to get Fords help, i can provide any vin information. so both sides have been inoperable at different time, yes its one giant lcd display, but 2 different panels @Ford Motor Company

You will definitely need to schedule with a dealer, so do that first off. When you do, hit up @Ford Motor Company and they will be happy to grease the skids.

I know the right side / center stack can be force rebooted, I believe from 2 buttons on the right side of the steering wheel. The gauge cluster, however, is another matter.

Most of the screen complaints center around latency or ‘lagginess’ but there have been a few who have reported in with blanked out screens.

It’s frustrating, I know, but the problems tend to fade away once they get fixed and you’re back on the road - or track.

The thread above documents issues already identified by Ford. I don't see anything related to your problem, but you could be witnessing a new trouble. Yes, return to dealer.

@BlackGT2024 ..... did you have any device plugged into your infotainment system at any time? I was plugging my Samsung phone into the C port of the system via a good quality cable to play my music play list. I unplugged the cable and afterwards the screen pixelated. My "geek genius" nephew told me it was my fault and that I should have shut the phone off before just disconnecting the cable from the infotainment's C port while the tunes were playing. He said it does not happen in all cases but depending on the files and the phones operating software it can happen. He likened it to not hitting the eject device icon on our computers or laptops before removing a data stick or another device, which can cause janky behavior. He shut off the car for 30 min then we re-started it and the screen came back clean. I had never read anything about this......maybe some of the tech gurus on here can comment?

No nothing plugged in. I am wanting ford to inquire here to me. Dealership will never uncover anything unless it is happening when its in their possession

I believe the dealer would not need much else other than your observation. I had issues with a screen in another car/brand so I took videos to show to the dealer because it was an intermittent issue. However, when I mentioned it to the service advisor, he said we will replace it without even wanting to see the videos.

Maybe trim your commentary at the end but that should be enough to show the service advisor that yes, there is in fact a problem. Some dealers are sketchy on whether they will take a video as proof that there’s a problem - I’ve yet to hear a good answer on why they wouldn’t.

Get that car to the dealer so they can have a whack at fixing it.

well it seems my issue actually created a recall, the recall which there is no software patch until estimated 1st quarter of 2025 doesnt exist yet...

Description
In your vehicle, the instrument panel cluster ipc screen may not illuminate, resulting in a black i.e., non-functioning ipc at startup or during a drive cycle. This may occur randomly and persist until the next time the vehicle is turned on. A black ipc screen does not display vehicle speed, fuel level, engine status, and other critical safety information.
Safety Risk
An ipc screen that does not clearly display critical safety information increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Software is not available. Ford Motor Company is working to provide software for this repair. When the remedy becomes available, Ford Motor Company will notify you via mail to schedule a service appointment with your dealer for repairs to be completed free of charge. The remedy is anticipated to be available 1ST quarter 2025.
