2025 Dark Horse handling package delivery time

On October 9, I put a deposit on a 2025 Dark Horse with the appearance package and the handling package. The dealer tells me that the system won’t allow them to place and order yet for the handling package, but they will as soon as they are able. Apparently, some components of the handling package are not yet available. Does anybody know how long it might take for the car to be delivered?

Search the forum it has been posted many times. But short answer they don’t build cars with track tires during the winter. Builds will start around April / May. They could already be fully assigned for ‘25

I ordered mine on 5/30/23 and took delivery last week. The holdup was the appearance package and handling package. I heard they aren’t scheduling any 2025 with the handling options before July 2025.

IF your dealer has an allocation to get one

AND IF they will sell you one

you are looking at about 10 months to get it, between unavailable parts and the tire thing, the car is a horror show as far as having the stars line up and the moon being full in order to get it built.

You would probably be better off finding one on a lot right now and getting it before winter... not sure if you were looking auto or manual.

THANKS! This is very useful. I am looking for a manual transmission and some of these look great. I might just go for the 2024. Not sure I want to wait for a year for a 2025.

2024 is lower cost than 2025, and has wireless charging.
X-plan is not eligible for dark horse, but you can ask for MSRP pricing as its end of the year.
There are quite a few new ones on the lots, even with the DH appearance package.

To give you an idea, you can’t order the HP until April. I ordered mine April 18th, 2024. It got a blend date of 10/15/24. Last update was 10/23/24 still showing in production. It changed to in production on 10/3/24. I expect I will get the car sometime this month or early December.

That is such a bummer!! I ordered mine July 23rd, 2025 DH with HP. Stick. Black matte. I know they release schedules every mid month on Friday for 2 months out. So this month are for April builds. Now, if...and that is a strong IF I get scheduled in April, for ajune build. I love in Colorado and want as many months as possible with her on the road. July is too far!!! where did you hear this?
