Hello all, I have narrowed down my choices to running a squared setup for my daily driver 2024 GT. Looking at Velgen classic5 V2 vs RTR Tech 5 both in black. My question is what are people's opinion on 275/35R20 on a 9.5" vs 10" wide wheel as far as fit?

Will that tire size look too stretched on a 10" wide wheel?

I have scrolled through pictures on this sight and the fit looks to be good, but wanted peoples opinions from in person viewing on their own setups.

Thank you

It'd be okay but why not go 285
My thought process was keeping total diameter within +3% with the 275/35. If i go 285/35 the diameter would go past +3% and if i go 285/30 then I'm smaller than stock and even less cushion.

Original tires from factory are 255/40R19 square setup.

3% is nothing

if you're going to do 275 all around get the same size wheel around so you can at least rotate them

I am simply following the "3% Rule" I have seen on this site and others. This will be my first time doing aftermarket wheels. If people think that rule isn't a good rule of thumb, I'm happy to hear those opinions.

It's not a bad guide. 285/35-20 would be 3.3% and you'd still be fine

I know it’s not an S650, but I run 285/35/20 on 20x10 squares in summer. Stock tires are 235/50/18. 3% rule is pretty good IMO, but honestly 3.3% isn’t making a huge difference. If you want to run 275’s, a 9.5” wide wheel is ideal for most tires

I have a staggered set up on mine and run a 20 x 9.5 +33 wheel on the front with a 275 35 20 and I like the way it looks. Here’s some pics to give you an idea what to expect.
