Limited isn't available with the part time system; it comes in 2WD or FT 4WD.

Thanks for your response but I do not like the Land Cruiser from its big boxy looks to its battery filled rear cargo area. Just not my cup of tea. On the other hand, the 2025 4Runner TRD Off-Road Premium with its non-hybrid 4 Cylinder Turbo really floats my boat and is about 600 pounds lighter than the hybrid Land Cruiser.
May as well just go for the Limited since it sounds like what the ORP offers doesn't actually entice you that much. I think the Limited might get the worst MPGs of all trims though, since the always locked front hubs are gonna sag efficiency a bit, and it is a bit of a fatso for a gas trim

And it shouldn't be hard to find some 17" or 18" OEM takeoffs from other TNGA-F vehicles like Taco, Tundra/Seq, LC. I like the Limited and Platinum too for the driveline but if I was going that direction those wheels/tires would be coming off day 1

I think you’re right. In a perfect world, I would be able to purchase the TRD Off-Road Premium with full-time four-wheel drive. But since that doesn’t exist, and it doesn’t appear that there’s an easy path to get there, I think purchasing the gas engine Limited and swapping out the wheels for something more suitable for off-road use seems like the most logical path. Thanks for your response!
