[AZ] Rock n Roll Car Show is gonna crash and burn

i just went down to the Pavilions for Rock n Roll Car Show, and it turns out there is new management. from what i heard, the De Rito Partners Development, who hosts the show, decided to ditch the old guys running it and put in their place the company Arizona Events Group. talking with the old event runners, they think the show is going to die off by the end of the year. they changed basically everything they possibly could. instead of finding a spot you would like, they seem to assign you to a spot. instead of cool cars getting showcased, paid sponsors do (there was a CyberStuck that paid for a showcase this week). before there were two rows for older vehicles and the rest of the lot was mixed, now half the lot is older vehicles, half are newer ones. they are changing too much too fast, and when i asked them about it, the new event runners were adamant that this is how its always been. from the sounds of it, all the old event runners are not coming back after this week, and i probably wont either. one of them said "Mark Kramer wouldn't have taken this shit", and i 100% agree. i stayed there 10 minutes before leaving, where before i would spend 2.5 to 3 hours there

TLDR:
Don't bother with Rock n Roll Car Show anymore.
Arizona Events Group is in the process of ruining it, with help from De Rito Partners Development

Hello Roket and MM. I'm in Prescott with my new '24 GT. Always like to take a drive. If you ever get up this way, let me know. Sometimes car folks meet at the bottom of the Congress grade at a Shell station-mini mart. Not really into 500 mile drives, but easy weekend meet ups are more my thing.
