Brittany Blue 60th Anniversary

I got notified that I was able to get a Brittany Blue 60th Anniversary car on the 1 year anniversary of my father's passing on October 15th. It was a hard day as I was just having to accept the fact that it had been 1 yr of having lost my father. You see he had a Mustang collection he had been working during my childhood. He had had several offers on them, and never sold one of them. I am up to my eyeballs in getting cars back to their previous glory and back to the excellent shape he kept them in before illness stole him away from me. It has been a labor of love and honor and a family affair. Even though, I need another car like a hole in the head, I went a head and decided to get the BB. I already have 4 of his classic mustangs to maintain, all of which I was never allowed to drive. I have two back on the road, and every drive is special because my dad and I would cruise around in his cars on back roads. Unfortunately, a thief called Lewy Body Dementia stole my father from me and he isn't here to enjoy his cars or see BB when it arrives.

Thank you for sharing about your father. Sounds like he had great taste and a strong appreciation for what brings us all on the forum together. Congratulations on getting a BB invitation, maybe it can be the car to bring out on days not quite nice enough for the classics, but still special enough for a drive!

I feel your pain. It is amazing that you are keeping his cars and legacy alive. Love what you are doing. Good luck with the BB and post pictures of the Mustang collection!

I love that car. I love that color. I would buy it today but I want a convertible. I have a vapor blue 60th on order. I wish they had offered a convertible option in the Brittany Blue.

The Tuesday before Thanksgiving, I brought the BB home! Build quaility is excellent and can't wait to park it next to my dad's cars and my 2022 Bronco. Thankful for the warm weather days to take it out for drives honoring my dad. Plan on taking it to cars and coffee and to local Shelby car club meet up.
