Ceramic coat on matte stripes

Who’d think my first post would be about this;). I know a few of us have over the top stripes. I had the front ppf and they didn’t cover the stripes to not affect the matte. Adam’s said to find an obscure area and test, so just seeing if any brave souls have tried coating the stripes and the car. Thanks!

My 24' Mustang GT PP with the fade over top matte stripes has been ceramic coated for 5 weeks and has shown no problems at all

My entire DH is ceramic coated (EGL Kenzo), including all the vinyl on the hood. 7 months and still looks great!

Coatings generally don't add gloss to a matte surface, rather they deepen the finish. This also applies to matte finish wheels, the coating just adds richness and depth.
