I was told you need a hunter revolution tire machine to properly change tires on the performance pack wheels. Does anyone have any info on this?

I just had mine replaced at a Tire Warehouse, they did the ones on my 2018 also, I just ran them for a bit and they seem smooth.

Nonsense! The Hunter systems are great and probably for the amount of money for them, you would assume the person running it would be excellent. Not always so, still takes a human to do it right. For me, make sure the shop has plastic tips on any surface touching the wheels so they don't have metal to metal contact hurting the wheels. Make sure they have a good reputation to spin balance correctly. I have my own tire and balance machine, so no one is touching my tires and I've had none I couldn't do properly. Only one to blame is myself if it went wrong anyways!!

This is great information! I did not know there were plastic tips that can be installed on the tire mounting machine. I will be asking for this from now on whenever I get tires on any of my vehicles. Thank you!
