Hello all,
So I wondering if any of you had any issues regarding the charge system fault. So my Mustang (24 gt) with 20k miles about 2 months ago driving home I got a charge system fault. So I pulled over, turned off the car, and it went away. About a week ago, while driving to work, a charge system fault happened again, but this time, the car died on me. The engine stalled and lost power steering as soon as the warning came on. But interestingly, the car dash stayed on. So, like before, I started the car again, and the warning went away.
Took it to the dealer, and the battery and alternator came back as good. The car spent about a week with the dealer, and they could not figure out what was wrong. The code they pulled was U3003. They contacted Ford engineers and nothing. I have a few ideas as to why this is happening, but the dealer cannot replicate the fault since it happens so irregularly. Looking for some guidance from any of you who have dealt with this issue or have been in a similar boat as me. I fear that the car will fail me and end up me ending up in a wreck since I drive this car and drive a lot. Below is a picture of what they did at the dealership. Advice would greatly appreciated
