Does the drive mode and exhaust mode go back to Normal mode after turning off the engine?

yes they do, kinda wished they defaulted to the custom profile on startup though.
it doesn't at least do the thing F-150s do where it asks you if you want to return to the drive mode from the last key cycle? that's pretty lame

I'm sure one of the many software updates they will pump out, they'll probably add it. I mean I have the "Track" Exhaust added to my favorite button so really all I have to do is hit that and roll. I do have my custom settings set for Sport driving mode and steering feel with track exhaust and such, only takes a few seconds to swap to it so it isn't a huge deal, I guess.

I heard this from around the way, but if you set your settings in MyMustang, when you enter the vehicle turn the car on without cranking, switch to your profile and the exhaust will open up. Then crank, and you'll start in whatever exhaust mode you have set.

I don't know if this works on factory modes.

I wish it would leave it in the last mode before shutoff.

And this is exactly why they will not do it. Track mode is not street legal in all states so Ford cannot allow it to default to it.

Yeah, this has been around since 18'. It never worked on the S550.

Actually I kinda like that on my F-150. If I’m towing it stays in that mode, if I’m plowing it stays in slippery mode. Kinda nice

I can attest that this works. You can turn the car on without turning over the engine, like when the radio works and there’s power to the windows…..change the drive mode…..and crank it up. It will start in your custom drive mode. Track exhaust and everything.

I set the custom mode to track exhaust, so that's one push-up. I used the favorite star button for instant quiet mode

If you set the favorite to track exhaust, clicking it a 2nd time turns quiet on. I have mine set for track and when I'm cruising at night I push it again and it turns it to quiet. Now ya know lol
