European Fog Light?

The European version of 7th gen Mustang includes fog lights. The lights switch center include a bottom for fog lights. I can not see the fog lights in front of the car. How do they work? Are these like day time running lights become brighter?

That’s for rear fog lights which are mandatory, fronts are optional so Ford doesn’t bother. The guy got it wrong. The pictogram indicates direction

Yup, the fog lights are for the rear. That's something I need to put on my car too when shipping it.
