DH Premium A10, base suspension. Traded 19 GT Premium, PP1, Magneride, A10 with Ford Racing Tune.

Suspension firm enough for aggressive daily driving, better then my PP1. Instrument panel display ok, but I liked track mode in 19 better and still trying to get gauges on instrument panel. Acceleration seems slower, until you floor it, but it may be because the throttle is not as responsive as my 19. Also, 87 octane gas implies Ford left some on the table with a 12 to 1 compression engine. Base tires could be better. Will be putting rear 275s on front and getting new 305s for rear (from Lamborghini, only Pirelli 305/35-19 available). Exhaust definitely louder than my 19 with Active Exhaust. I like polished stainless exhaust.

As soon as I can get a tune, will address some of these concerns including throttle response and trans shifting. Overall car has more features than my 19, but needs a little tuning. Can't wait !

Throttle equals gas pedal rate.

Congrats!

Base DH Premium A10.
Not sure what a Base DH Premium is.

You have the Dark Horse (base?) and the Dark Horse Premium.

Unless he meant “Base” as in Non-HP … my guess.

Yeah, if he's talking about moving the 275s from the back to the front he doesn't have the HP so doesn't have the Trofeo tires.

Then what would the non-Premium non-HP Mustang be?

The Base Dark Horse Base? :cwl:

He's got a Dark Horse Premium.

Yep, quick answer for new car. When I have to replace all 4, I'll look for another option than Pirelli P Zeros and sizes.

I'm already shopping rims and tires to replace the Trofeo and keep them for HPDE days. Probably going Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S but need to find a good rim for the front and decide on a tire width.

Stock rims are limiting on base DH suspension. 305/35 widest on rear (rims). I had Michellin PS4S 275/35-20 and 305/30-20s on rear of my GT and was happy with spirited corner carving.

Try putting higher octane fuel in your car. I think you will find it makes a difference.

I've only have had car a week, but learn something new everyday. Just found out when I lock car, the center console locks.

OBTW already did following mods: locked down subframe, side scoops and waiting on rear tires. Looking to take hood decal and extend to roof. Car already had hood struts.

Check out the FORScan thread. With a small investment, you can make very subtle changes that may improve your life as a driver/owner. For example, you can enable 'continuous gear display' so that the gear you're in is ALWAYS displayed, even when not in manual mode or temporarily overriding full auto with a paddle shift. Or maybe you want the car to lock itself when you do nothing more than walk away with the key fob on your person.

Gear shift indicator would be nice since I use paddles all the time for passing and corners, without using Manual Mode. Really want better throttle control. Accelerator feel too soft. Also, would prefer gauges on dash.

Again, I had Ford Racing Tune in my 19 GT and it definitely favored A10 cars. Trans tuning and accelerator tuning were very good.

That's an easy one. If you don't want to buy a FORScan compatible dongle, maybe someone who lives near you would be willing to do it for a barley pop or two.
