I have a 2024 Mustang GT with 3500 miles. I got it in May this year and since the very beginning I have been noticing this clicking sound when shifting from Park to Reverse and/or Drive. See the video below. It doesn't happen all the time, ~80% of the time and it is more evident while turning on the car and shifting from P to R.

Is anyone else having the same behavior?

Sounds like a beep in the video! I've never heard that before on mine.

Good morning! If you'd like to, go ahead and send us a private message with your VIN and dealer info and we’ll look into this noise concern. Thanks!

Could it be if you park on a hill and set your emergency brake?
When you release your emergency break and then put it in reverse, it has to catch up.
If i’m on a hill, I put it in park. I let it roll back a little bit. Then I set the emergency break with no pressure on the transmission.

Have any of you actually had any results from Ford on an offer like this? I gave it a try and they did nothing for me.

They are useless. This is what I got after I DM them.

I appreciate that clarification, Oziel. Since you have not yet visited your Ford dealer for this clicking noise concern, we recommend that your vehicle be inspected by a Ford/Lincoln dealership to determine the cause of any symptoms your vehicle may be experiencing currently. Your local Ford/Lincoln dealership has factory-trained technicians, the most current engineering service information, and the specialized equipment required to resolve your vehicle concerns. If there is no coverage under applicable warranties, recalls, or ESPs, repairs and services would be your responsibility. Your next step is to proceed with your upcoming appointment with Bowen Scarff Ford to have your vehicle diagnosed. Feel free to update us here after your appointment and once your vehicle has been inspected so I can provide you with a case number.
