Horn sounds when exiting car

Anyone know how to stop horn from sounding when exiting car. I have searched interweb and manual but can’t find answer..I only want it to sound when locking or door/boot not completely closed..Is quite annoying when just getting out & horn sounds for no reason..(that I could find)..

Mine does it too but only if I have the key in my pocket while the car is running. It is annoying.

Mine does it when engine stopped & I have just gotten out..

It means you haven't pushed the Red stop button before getting out. And, if you try to lock the car with the Red button not pushed, you can't lock the door as well.

That is probably true if red button not pressd. In my case the engine has stopped & accessories are off as well.. 99% of the time engine & acc are off when I am getting out of car..

The honk when getting out with engine running, key in pocket can be disabled in the menu... for the OP, not sure why you get honk if car is off... no key left in car is there?

Kids these days. What back in the old days, ya young whipper snappers, we'd just open the hood and pull off the electric wires from the horn.

That happened to me once. AAA arrived and told me I also left it running. This was so smooth that even sitting on the hood I couldn't feel or hear it running.
