Hot take the s650 is better looking than the s550

This isn't a hot take. They're obviously very similar and fit with the times they were designed. But the S650 is a sexier, edgier, bolder looking car.

The s650 was hated by the s550 guys when it first came out. Just like people hated the s550. I saw the s650 and my first thought was "Oh, a better looking s550".

The S550 was the first Mustang I saw since the 1st gen that I thought was a really nice design. Once the S650 design and new interior were revealed, I was sold. In terms of edge, I would agree that the front and rear are more angular, but the side to me is the real improvement because there are less creases and a smoother contour. The front end is more aggressive, and the rear is more constricted, which contrasts the rear wheel flares in a more flattering manner than the 6th gen. I have no spoiler on mine, and I think the design is much cleaner for it. Again, both are good looking cars and esthetics, like art, is highly subjective. Overall I think the 7th gen is the sexiest Mustang ever designed.

I did not like the S550 when it first came out, had to grow on me. Same for the S650, I am coming around now, still not a big fan of the dash but the exterior has me contemplating adding a S650. I am having a hard time deciding if I want to add another Mustang or F150.
