For when I’m having a bad knee day but more importantly so my wife can enjoy one too. This one is Carbonized and my six-speed is black. After seeing it the Carbonized is prettier than I thought it would be. Was kinda looking for another black but they aren’t exactly stacked up like cordwood if you insist on the HP.

Got a pretty decent deal and I figure by going with the ‘24 instead of a ‘25 the HP was basically free and then some.

They of course didn’t get the shipping spacers out but they will send a tech out in a week or so to do that and install all the other stuff that ships in the trunk. The salesman tells me the spacers are orange unlike the yellow I’m used to seeing.

This one has the regular seats instead of the Recaros and they’re nice.

And yeah, I’ll get the dealer decal off in a few days when I get some time.

Dang. Love the color! Probably the first dark horse I really like. Congratulations.

I was thinking earlier about the tough times ford has been in with market wishy washy trends and how they’ve been navigating it with the s650. I actually believe the mustang will sell more over the next few years than it did during the launch year. Common sense with fossil fuels etc. is riding and people are more comfortable with going ahead and enjoying their cars and lives.

Thank you.

i originally wanted another black one but couldn’t find the deal I liked so here I am. I’m coming around to the color myself. It’s not as dark as a lot of the gunmetal grey cars these days but it’s not just a plain light silver either. These pics are just after coming home through 60 miles of rain so it’s definitely gonna be easier to keep than my black one.

I’d personally rather see Ford work on a Jenny Craig program for the Mustang instead of increasing horsepower but big hp numbers sell so it‘s unlikely. Especially when you consider that around 500 hp is probably pretty close to the NA limit for a reliable factory Coyote that can be warranted and still profitable. So I’d say here come hybrids, which = weight.

My last mustang was black.

On these cars, I like it when the sharp lines are visible. Personally I think this is the best color you could get. Really shows off the design snd just looks kinda perfect. Light enough to show off the lines and dark enough to be rich. The black accents pop and the wheels match everything. It’s a fantastic look. Enjoy it.

And if you end up liking it as much as it even eventually preferring it over the black car… it’s ok. Lol.

Such an understated and elegant color.
My S197 was Sterling Grey and never got tired of it.
Love my Ember Blue but this is timeless. Gives DB5 vibes.
Congrats!

Very we’ll put, and you’re right it all kinda goes together.

I’m not even a day in but I’m not too sure what you’d change the wheels to if you were of a mind to do so. And they’re plenty big enough at 10.5 and 11.

Thanks!

The Ember Blue is along the same lines and beautiful as well.

Yes I’ve often thought these cars were a little Aston-ish.

Like the carbonized grey and shadow black in the coupe'. As for vert, like our rapid red w/nite pony pkg.

Yes, we love our RR/black package GT vert. By far my wife’s favorite!

Your carbon grey looks great. I know it's just "silver", but I think I would've ordered mine in iconic silver if it was available in the dark horse. All the black accents I think would pop and contrast nicely. Congrats on #2!

Thanks man, you’re very kind. The carbonized kinda surprised me when I got there to see it. It’s nowhere near as dark as a lot of dark charcoal cars you see these days but it’s a lot darker than iconic silver. I would have preferred my all-time favorite Mustang color, Grabber Blue Metallic like the Mach 1 I traded in on this one. Or maybe another black. But there’s not a big choice in nearby leftover ‘24s now and I got a great deal so I’m ok with it.
