Hello everyone. Just got a new 2025 Mustang gt with the 19“ wheels. I don’t like the 2 piece chrome lug nuts. I tried to search but not a lot of options came up for the 2025. I went to Mcgard and they said the 64074 would fit 2024 so I ordered them. The bulge were it sits seems smaller than the ford lug nuts. Seems like they might be to small. Any recommendations or ideas? Still haven’t driven the car But they did torque down. Here are some pictures. Thanks for your help.

It does say it is the right size. Try it on and see how it is.

Yes, you can see a visual difference. What matters is the degree on the conical seat. The OEM lung nuts have a deeper seat which equates to more contact area. Take the lug nuts (one of each) and over lap them facing each other (as in your photo number one 3) with the seat bevels touching each other. The lug nuts will be off center from each other however the will be on the same plane if the conical seats are the same degree. If the seat angles are the same you should be fine.

I did try them on. They seem ok and got torqued down. The size difference is what worries me. The factory cone was marked or scratched about half way up the cone and the new black ones were marked almost at the top of the cone.

The lug nuts you got would be required for most aftermarket wheels, as there is not enough room for the factory "bulge" style (like these). They should work fine, but if you are not planning on aftermarket wheels, and don't like the current look, get the "bulge" style.

Thanks. Will look into the ones you posted. I thought I got the right ones as they say bulge on the listing.

I was trying to get black one piece lug nuts. I currently have the ford chrome 2 piece.
Are the Dark Horse Lug Nuts BLACK?
If they are, they may work?
