Well the end logic is it makes me happy. My kids will inherit plenty I'm alive and having fun in my retirement. Plus you have to take in the exchange rate and duties and tariffs. So believe it or not things in other places than where you live can cost more.
Same.
Like most people, much of my life, time and money, was spent sacrificing and raising my kids so now it's time for me to enjoy my own life. I fully understand those who prefer the garage queen method, going to shows and so forth but I'm just different. As the saying goes "you can't take it with you" so enjoy life to it's fullest in whatever way works for you and makes you happy.

Well, I know that Mustangs can cost more in other countries. The PP Mustang GT costs from 144.000 US Dollars in The Netherlands.

But you said a Mustang costs 20k more in Canada than in the US. That is not true at all.

The MSRP of a base Mustang GT in Canada is 46.000 Canadian Dollars, thats 33.500 US Dollars.

Canada, depends on the province has a sales tax between 5% and 15%

US has sales tax between 0% and 11%

So what am I missing?

First off we are talking a fully loaded manual handling package 700a appearance package and Recaros. The dealer MSRP on my car was $93,350.00 we are not talking base model GT. Where the similar DH in the US is about $70,000.00 that's what you are missing. Also you forgot tariffs and all additional shipping costs. I have seen dealers up here asking over $100,000.00. So go back to trolling other as I'm done with you. So I hope you can figure out that stuff in general is way more expensive in Canada than your backyard.

So you are comparing Canadian Dollar to American Dollar?

You know that 1 US Dollar is not the same as 1 Canadian Dollar right?

With 1 US Dollar you get 1.37 Canadian Dollars.

And the second mistake is you are comparing dealer mark ups with msrp.

Canadian Mustangs are cheaper than US Mustangs if you look at the calculation.

You said Canada is 20.000 Dollars more expensive on the fully loaded Dark Horse right?

Well, here we configurated a fully loaded Dark Horse on the Canadian website AND on the US website.

A fully loaded Dark Horse in Canada including fees like destination charge is 93.295 Canadian Dollars.

A fully loaded Dark Horse in the USA including fees like destination charge is 78.255 US Dollars.

Now lets convert the Canadian Dollars into US Dollars and to make a better comparison.

93.295 Canadian Dollars is the same as 67.980 US Dollars.

Well well, the Canadian Mustang is 10.000 US Dollars CHEAPER before tax.

So now lets compare the sales tax in Canada with the USA to make it more fair.

The cheapest province in Canada has 5% sales tax
The most expensive province in Canada had 15% sales tax

A fully loaded Dark Horse in the cheapest province in Canada would cost 71.379 US Dollars.

A fully loaded Dark Horse in the most expensive province would cost 79.177

Now lets put sales tax on the American Mustangs.

The cheapest state in the USA has 0% sales tax
The most expensive state in the USA has 9.56% tax

A fully loaded Dark Horse in the cheapest state would cost 78.255 US Dollars after tax.

A fully loaded Dark Horse in the most expensive state would cost 85.736 US Dollars.

Conclusion:
Cheapest loaded Dark Horse in Canada = 71.379 US Dollars
Cheapest loaded Dark Horse in the USA = 67.980 US Dollars

Most expensive loaded Dark Horse in Canada = 79.177 US Dollars
Most expensive Dark Horse in the USA = 85.736 US Dollars.

Guess what? In both cases the fully loaded Dark Horse is CHEAPER in the USA than in Canada.

So here is my question again.

How the hell could a fully loaded Dark Horse in Canada be 20k more expensive than in the USA?

First off I'm talking real world pricing at the time also I was not talking a lease for $78,255. Your figures are skewed. Now if your trying to say I payed to much that was in my original comment. So not sure what your trying to say.

The pricing I showed you are MSRP pricing from the website.

I even posted proof. But you like to just talk crap and ignore facts.
