Haven't bought a vehicle from a Ford dealer in 8 years, and they pulled a fast one last time. Hoping to avoid that during my lengthy wait for my Dark Horse.
My question is when we sign an agreement, is that number protected until the vehicle is built? Do I have a legal basis for defending this number when they call and say MSRP has increased? My take is that we signed an agreement, had it become cheaper to build they would not have lowered the price. This call hasn't happened yet, but MSRP has gone up several times since I agreed to $7500 over MSRP on 27 March. They did also take a deposit. I think I'll be on firm ground saying this was the agreement we both signed. Any insight appreciated. Thoughts? Build sheet and agreement attached for reference.
