Hello everyone,

This is my first thread here.

I own a 2024 Mustang GT cabriolet 6 speed and from the beginning ( now the care has 7700km ) i had a weird sound (unusually loud) when I open the driver door or if the car i open and i dont touch it. After a while the sound stopped and had the normal sound of fuel pump priming. 2 days ago when driving and wanted to park when I was almost stopped, the car simply stopped( like resets and electronic sound) i had all the dash with all the security sensors that told me that they are unavailable + message " vehicle unblocked". ( this is the second time it makes me in 7700km)

After these, this morning I have the same loud noise when open the car for the first time.

Do you have any idea what cause this? Is pure electronic? I dont have any issues with the fuel or something else.

I leave you here the sound the bad and also the normal sound.

Thank you very much for suggestion.

Ps: the dealer dont k ow what it is, I was already with the car and I will not leave anymore the car at them.

Sounds electronic, except for the loud bang in the first vid.

i’d be tempted to disconnect the battery, charge the battery while disconnected, reconnect fully charged battery, lock and let sit for 24 hours undisturbed (bms relearn).

some clicks and clanks are solenoids and relays (not much to be worried about until they stop making noise that is), bangs and thunks are bad and need to be addressed asap (as soon as practical/possible) otherwise warranty should resolve any issue unrelated to misuse or modification.

The first video is with the bad sound. The second one its the electronic sound that i know that is normal.

But the bad sound tends to dissapear after some time ( thousands of km) .

The ‘air ratchet’ sound or the bang?

The mettalic sound. The bang i think is because I was in the parking place. It's the sound from 0.03 -0.04

My car has been doing the same thing for 3 months now. Took to dealer couldn’t find anything wrong with it.

What I noticed on my is that it makes the noise when the voltage is around 12V at startup. If at startup is 13.5- 14V it will just makes the normal priming sound.

Can you check right after you hear the sound and turn on the car qhat voltage do you have?

Thanks.
