Redenso DS1 radar detector mounting

Anyone looking to mount a radar detector. The Redenso DS1 works great, designed to run off, USB.

here is my setup

I have a creative mounting solution.
1. Permanent DS1 Mount from eBay.
2. Quick release camera tripod mount.
3. .6 foot L angled plug.

Oh, my front window is tinted, so using something with double-sided tape is a no go.
