I would like to replace my stock tires with all season tires for longer driving times in Illinois and Michigan. Mine will not be used at the track, what is the widest tire that can be installed on the standard 8.5" wheels in the back? Current is 275's. Thanks much.

Agreed on sizing^. I'm also in Michigan and switched to Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4's at the end of the summer. They are a bit louder than the Pirelli's but have treated me well so far and will likely run them all year since I'm not tracking the car. Good luck!

I am back and forth from Michigan and Illinois and don't mind driving on a clean cold day but I stay away with summer tires. Next winter will be different.

If you have a GT/PP your rear wheels are NOT 8.5". They are 9.5".

You CAN go wider if you'd like. Check specific tire brands for the size chart. :)
