Hello I am new here to the forum but have come to it many times before to find some good info and I see a lot of people who really seem to know what they’re talking about and are super helpful. I have a 24’ Mustang GT 6-speed with performance package. I’m looking to upgrade it in phases partially due to money and partially due to lack of expertise. My ultimate goal is to have it be stage 2 whipple supercharged. After receiving some advice I was told it would be a solid idea to upgrade/bolster different parts of the car before I just slap a whipple on there because what’s the point of having all that power if I can’t put it down. I preferably want the car to be faster but also be able to handle because I intend to take it to a track once in a while on top of driving it pretty hard somewhat often on backroads etc. I don’t want the car to just be good in a straight line. I do understand that in order for me to REALLY put the power down that will only happen with certain tire setups. So after all that.. 😭

Question
1. What would be some priority and necessary upgrades to do to the car to set it up well for the power output from the supercharger.
Things like tire sizes, engine internals, suspension etc…

I have 12k set aside as of right now for this first phase of upgrades and hopefully I can knock out a decent amount with that and if some money ends up carrying over for the whipple and install then great.

Any advice would be great and sorry for the essay!

In no particular order, i’d be tempted to pry as much info as i could from steeda, beefcake, and lethal performance

There are tons of great suspension/driveline upgrades you can make to the car that will change almost night and day how the car feels.
I encourage you to check out our packages as we have one geared to almost exactly what you're looking for, called the "street essentials"
