Yeah... Sounds like a high-pitched clown car horn. Might need to take a look into a replacement! Have you seen any out there? Congrats on your coming Mudbath Pro! You are going to love it for sure.

Thanks,

Saw this on YouTube. Buddy, upgraded his LC horn, with a plug and play Toyota premium horn. Think he purchased it on Amazon or eBay. Part # 08522-60010

Hey everyone. Finally filled up the TRD Pro for the first time. The dealer said the first tank was 91 octane and that is what I refilled it with. Here are some stats:

- 287 Miles Driven
- Car Computer says 19.1 MPG average
- 13.785 gallons in and when the mileage is divided by the gallons, it equates to 20.81 MPG
- After filling up, the computer said I had 332 miles in range.

As for driving, about 3/4 of the miles were on ECO. I live in rural MT, so a few of the roads are 35-40 MPH, but the rest I was between 65-70. I did mildly punch it a few times, just to feel the torque! We are at around 3,500 FT in altitude and the roads aren't that great up here. They are all chip sealed and pretty rutted out. It was a bit windy the last few days as well. So, still breaking it in I would guess. I'll repost after the next tank. Thanks!

Morning. When is yours supposed to come in? I'm not sure if you read my initial post or seen others on the forum about letting the dealer wash the car and get it ready for you, but in hindsight, I would not have let them. The paint is really a mess on mine. I think it is a combo of the shipping and the dealer getting it ready. Pretty disappointing and I hope the local paint correction expert can get it back to where it should be. Underground was my first choice, but I am starting to really like the Black

Besides that, you are going to love the car. It's just a fantastic vehicle. I hope yours gets to you quickly!

Here are a couple pics yesterday after it rained and got a bit dirty.

Thx Zgreen! Looks great! Yes, I saw your original post about the paint being scratched up. I would keep on them about making it right. Is it possible to clean it up with a good detailing? If so, I'd push hard for them to eat the cost. Can't remember if that topic was addresses previously and too lazy to go back and read it again. ;)

Hi Zack,

Just another question. Will you be putting mudguards on the Pro? Considering, the 33’s tires will kick up a lot of debris and spray. I’ve also noticed majority of the US 2025 4Runners don’t come with it, from factory. Whereas, up here in Canada, it’s comes installed from the factory, regardless.

Thanks! Yes, Kalispell Toyota is fulling stepping up and is paying for a full paint correction and will do whatever is needed to correct the situation. I am 95% sure the paint correction will fix everything. Still a bit concerned about some of the clear coat damage on the hood, but hopefully I am wrong! It goes in on Monday the 21st for two days and will update then. Thanks!

Hey there. Mine did have mudguards as a PIO add on, but I had them canceled. I'm not sure about putting ones on at the moment. I think I will wait for a bit and see what kind off aftermarket options there might be. Do you have a Pro reserved? How are the allocations coming up in Canada?

Zack,

They’re slowly trickling to the dealership. 🤞for my Mudbath to arrive end of this month. I saw this on a LC that was posted on Longo Toyota CA. It’s not the hard, rigid type. More flexible for off-road excursions. Not sure, if it is available to 4Runners.

I finally drove the Pro at night for the first time last night. Overall, the lighting in it is just awesome. The headlight on low beam are crazy bright and sharp. It's nice to have the leveler to adjust them if needed. The brights are fantastic as well and then I had to try out the light bar. Damn! It lit up the entire road, in what seemed like 180 degrees path from the front of the truck. I will be using those all the time up here in Montana to spot the deer and other animals.

The inside lights were very nice as well. I kind of wish the dash light dimmer was a knob instead of 4 or 5 presets. It would be nice to be able dial it in specifically. I found the preset of the brightness on the infotainment screen to be a bit too bright and was able to easily lower it in the settings.

Great to drive at night! Anyone else with a Pro have any thoughts? Find anything else interesting you didn't know before?

It was absolutely awesome 2 weeks sgo and the first time under the oak trees with the Spanish moss rolling through a swamp area here. I hit the light bars and it was awesome if anything had eyes it was reflecting, a full 45° off the road and when you see those red reflections, it’s all them gators along there. I love my pro bro

My black 2025 TRD Pro also came with paint issues. The front of the hood has some pretty gnarly white clouds in the clear coat. Also lots of swirls, especially on the fender flares. The paint protection film at rear wheels has air bubbles. Other than paint flaws, vehicle is really excellent. I definitely need to find and install some mud guards.

Hey Rufus. Those are the exact same issues I had! I mean to a T. Wonder if it was just a bad batch of the assembly line? Is your dealer taking care of all of it for you? They should!

Yeah, I’ve been thinking about Mud Guards. They were added as a PIO, but I had them taken off before delivery. Those tires sure spit up a lot of mud and dirt. I ordered the CBI overland rock sliders, which I think might help. Keep some of the dirt at Bay.

Yah, I have a “warranty evaluation“ appointment at the dealer tomorrow morning. My guess is the immediate swirls and fine scratching on the fender flares is something I’ll just have to live with, which is a bummer but not a big deal.

It’s not your fault and the dealership will need to take care of it for you. My dealer is sending it out to a paint correction specialist on Monday for a full workout that is going to take two days and cost about $1,500 or so, and they’re paying for it all. If the pain correction can’t for it and it needs a new hood or repainting, they will get it done and pay for it. It’s just the right thing to do.

Put the pressure on them! A $70k vehicle known for it quality has got to just about perfect on delivery.
