So if I'm that guy that decides to pull the #8 fuse (as soon as I'm sure I'm up to date on updates), does that failure on my part to constantly share information with Ford carry enough weight to cause a warranty coverage issue or are they able to get the history they might need through diagnostic? My biggest concern with the electronics on this car may be the ability of online threat to hack Ford, steal information, and possibly disable our cars via virus or similar? Sorry slightly off topic.

New EU cybersecurity rules for cars will cover this over here and to be honest it needs to be baked in so you will probably benefit in the US too. It covers resilience to hacking, data loss etc
