So this weekend the MMD Styling Bar and Diode Dynamics Fog Light Kit got installed in our S650. It came out pretty nice and took about 5 hours to complete

No, but the grill has to be removed.

The Fog Lights look like they belong there.
They Blend in very well.

Yes they do, which means Ford will equip them next year.

Did you wire Fog lights to the low beam circuit or install a switch?

They come with all the wiring to connect to the factory, head lights.

If you go to their website they have a couple of videos that show installation for both GT and Ecoboost

Both upgrades really upscale the look of the car. Nice combo.

On the GT, the install video shows them taking the whole from bumper cover off.

Curious, did you do the install or pay someone and if you had someone do it, do you have any idea how much they charged for just the fog light kit? I am looking into them but don't have a lift, so I will pay someone to do it.

I have not seen the bar before. I assume it stays in place when the top goes up. Does it have some kind of netting to block drafts?

it seems strange, but the fogs look more at home on the s650.

that said, I’d love to see someone (whether ford or aftermarket) design some slimline or geometric fog lights that go with modern lines and compliment the headlights. Round fog lights just seem kinda old (though they look pretty dang good on the s650).

at least they are in the right place and not in the grille.
