I'm not sure you can default something like that.

You can set and later retrieve via "My Mode", but typically suspension, exhaust settings and the like default back to factory upon startup. If talking display only, I've been able to set and maintain gauge and tach settings to "Sport+" or "Track".

At the extreme, Track mode opens the exhaust and disables Traction Control. One wouldn't want someone to unknowingly start the car and initially drive off like that.

Do you know if we can disable completely both traction and stability control like with the previous generation ?

I do not know.

I went to the link above and selected the print version of the 2024 manual. Warning: large download.

Pages 197 and 198 reference TC and SC. While these settings can be disabled, keeping them disabled, to stay off when you later restart the car, the manual is not clear on this.

Wup. Here you go, from page 197:

"The traction control system turns on each time you switch the ignition on."

Edit:

"The traction control system turns on each
time you switch the ignition on.

The button for the stability and traction
control system is on the instrument panel.

Press and release the button to switch
traction control off.

The stability control
system remains fully active, to switch it off,
press and hold the button for a few
seconds, then release.

When you switch traction control off, a
message and an illuminated icon appear
on the instrument cluster."

Oh thank you! Yes it's normal TC and SC to go back on when we restart the car, that's how it was on my S550 I see no reason why they would have changed it. I'll download the manual thanks for the link.
