Good afternoon all,

I'm trying to install the lower front chin spoiler on my DH and I can't seem to get the plastic fasteners in, all the other screws I had no issues with. They are the fasteners with the philips head screws. The holes are off by like half an inch or a little less. I tried inserting a punch into the holes next to one, put no luck.

Does anyone else have any helpful advice on getting these in?
Cheers.

I just did this last night with no issue. The holes all lined up fine. Are all your other holes lined up, just not the push pins? Might need to adjust your undertray a bit to line up. Or maybe it got a little warped.

Yep just the push pins are the issue.

I'll go back at it this weekend and see if loosening the other fasteners may help and also check the belly pan and loosen those screws and pull all the plastic push pins.

Thanks for the reply

If you can get photos of the alignment issue I'd be interested to see it 👍

I don't have a hoist but I'll see what I can do pic wise.

Cheers,
I can relate. I did the job using just 2.5" race ramps 😅 it was not comfortable

Yup - just went through the same thing w/the under tray they sell. I have a lift and everything was installed perfectly but like you push pin holes did NOT line up. I was able to manipulate a couple but had to ferret drill the rest of the holes. China’s quality control is way off I guess, and there’s nothing funny about it based on the amount of $$$ you pay for this junk…
