With two doors or four. My favorite will always be the two door. But if they add two doors to the s650, it's a four door mustang.

the mustang is a two door sports coupe.

a car that has 4 doors is by definition not a mustang.

a car can have four doors and be a car.

but a particular car that is defined as a two door sports coupe is no longer that particular car when it no longer has two doors. It is now a sedan.

and not a mustang.

Guys, let's just drop it. It's clear some of us want a mustang sedan, and some of us don't, and that we're not getting through to each other. So let's just agree to disagree. No more discussing if ford should make a mustang sedan or not, and what it means for the mustang brand, let's just get passed that. Just let people talk in this thread about what sort of features they want, or let it be a place to post cool renderings and ideas for this upcoming sedan, but let's just move passed the bickering. I apologize for the role I played in dragging out these back and forth discussions, in retrospect, I should have just let it go.

I see no four door wrangler. The Wrangler was by definition a two door off road SUV with a short wheelbase for climbing.

Potentially tying into this, some Ford insider claims GE2 is dead, which was gonna be Ford's upcoming EV platform for midsized to large EV crossovers like an electric explorer, but also, the next gen mach-e. So this change implies a next gen mach-e may or may not happen. Perhaps Ford is hoping by offering a mustang sedan, they'll still appeal to some people who want a four door mustang. Who knows, could be nothing, could be something interesting.

the Mach e is basically a failure. It’s proof positive that naming non-mustangs “Mustang” is a stupid thing to do.
