I bought my gt 8mo ago and I didn't notice until a few days ago when I was putting on my steeda hpipe the dealer didn't put my aero strakes on.

Didn't think it would be an issue because the dealership was amazing - but I guess I was wrong. Turns out they're only friendly when you're giving them money

The quicklane service department is amazing though. Definitely will continue to go there, but when it's time to upgrade my fiances civic to her bronco.

Little rant over, I'm on the fence with if this is worth my time. I usually only get 1 day a week off

lol, sounds like Palm Bay Ford. You're their best friend during the sale, then they get amnesia and forget who you are. The service dept is really good though.

Yeah I had sent them that link several times and I was told it wasn't optioned on my car but it's been taken care of now. Just took me leaving a negative review which sucks because my experience with them has been great up to this point.

True, a negative review will get the right people involved. I think they'd rather be punched in the throat or loan you their wife than have a negative review.

I really dislike having to deal with them. It was ok when I ordered but from the delivery date of the first car it went south pretty quick. After leaving bad reviews and getting advice from my friend that is a Ford exec, they changed their tune in a matter of hours. When the second car got delivered, they couldn't get me out of there fast enough. lol

What were you wrong about? They lied and said it wasn't part of your package and that you didn't get the strakes. The only one who was wrong about it was them, and now that they know they can reply that they now know it is supposed to be installed. And maybe apologize for some tech stealing them from your trunk.

I'd leave the negative report up because they were such asses.

Will these fit on a Ecoboost premium w/PP?

Should fit fine as long as the eb have the same underbody pannels. Though wouldn't the pp have them already. Ford's kind of all over the place with this generation.​

The underbody strakes?... they certainly do! They do sit over the top of the underbody cover, not sure if that is the case with the GT. The Ecoboost HPP leaves out a few things from the GT PP... the strakes being one of them.

Yeah I'd be willing to bet on it. But the cost for gain is probably the equalivent of throwing $100 in the wind

I agree it Would need the supporting mods to really work right. functional spoiler, all of the dh underbody panels and a functional front spoiler. According to fords design guy, forgot his name. He did day it would have decent functionality just not the full effect. see line about supporting mods.

The crazy thing is this forum posted the ford PDI for this a year ago and Item 3 section 3 specifically tells the dealer to instal strakes on the GTPP

That's great, if they try to tell me they're only doing this out of goodwill and I wasn't supposed to get them this will be fun to show them.

Apparently none of us really thought about the fact today was labor day so they closed at noon but I was coming in at 2 lol

I was able to come down and pick them up though so now I'm able to put them on myself

Everyone I've talked to on this side has been phenomenal. Honestly just the sales side that was a bad experience

Finally had a day off. Took me like 10 minutes to put on and half of that time was trying to free my 7mm socket from my new 1/4 wrench set

Was really simple and self explanatory. The strakes came with hardware but the car already had the hardware installed in place.. curious if they come in or they just added the screws in pdi and kept the strakes
