Recently my car has developed a pretty annoying rattle in the driver's side door when I play music with any kind of bass. It goes away if I push up against any part of the door, so it's not the speaker itself. Has anyone fixed this issue before? I guess I need to somehow tighten the seal when the door is closed

Hi there! I can look into your mustang's door concern on my end. To get started, could you please send a private message over with the name/location of your local Ford dealer and your mustang's VIN?

yeah mine had this, when i took it in for the 3rd time for a dash rattle, i had them look at the door as well. there were 2 screws loose on the back of the handle that they tightened down. the rattle went away for a while but its coming back so i may pull the panel off myself and Loctite them.

My dark horse is also starting to develop this and another from the top of the drivers side A pillar. Neither rattle has gotten bad enough to drive me to take anything apart yet. Curious what you find.

Mine also did this. Dealer basically told be to screw off. Said it was my choice of music because it had too much bass.

your fake concern is funny, I tried contacting you about multiple issues and all I got was lip service, and a case number. Not even a return call, Ford corporate actually helping is a joke.

I have an issue with a stress crack on my tail light, probably caused because it’s hot in Texas. Happened end of August and none of the dealers want to help and never saw you guys reaching out when I posted a thread with others having similar issues when asking online.

The ford rep giving you a case number means that the Ford dealer will have an easier time obtaining approval from ford to be reimbursed for the warranty work. This is my third mustang, and I've never had a legitimate claim just be outright rejected. It's not like the dealers are coming out of pocket for these repairs. I find it hard to believe all of yall are telling the full story

My driver side door also rattles. It goes away if I lightly hold my finger against on the door card, but doing so while driving is unsafe... For now, I have a small piece of MLV (mass loaded vinyl) wedged between the plastic piece that runs across the top and the plastic piece surrounding the door handle. I'll try to post a picture soon.

Tiny piece of MLV (anything should work) and no more rattles from the door. It’s just wedged in there.

My Dash is rattling bad around the right a pillar and passenger side door, also in the middle of the dash too. I need to take mine in for that among some other warranty repair work. Do you know what the dealership found and what they did to fix it??

No, they "fixed" the rattles after 3 times of being there and then 3 months later they were all back.

I have actually sold the mustang due to it being in the shop 9 times for rattles and infotainment issues. The nail that sealed the coffin was it freaking out and going into limp mode on the interstate 20 miles from home. Then after limping it all the way home, I shut it off and turned it back on for a 3rd time and it was magically perfectly fine. Sold it with 9544 miles on it. So sad because I wanted to love the car so much but it had SOO many quality issues.

Man I'm going through the same issues myself. Have a feeling that a ford buyback is in my future if it stays in the shop long enough. Which sucks, I love the car, the sound, speed, but have a lot of QC issues on top of a couple more serious things they need to address. What a waste of 70k, and I'll lose the additional 6k in tint, ppf, and ceramic coat, when i thought this would by one of my forever cars. Did you do a buyback or outright sell it? If you sold it, how much a hit did you take? Mine is less than 6 months old, only 5k miles, and a couple different stealerships offered me HALF it's value.... I'll never buy New again, that's for sure.
