If anything, this makes me think that price increase is already priced in and the deal you’re gonna get for this next month is just what it was already. Similar to how Black Friday deals just put up a new sign.
Example:
Laptop costs 599 before Black Friday
On Black Friday, a new sign goes up that shows it costs 799 but crossed out and now it costs 599 on Black Friday.
and if you want proof:

Discount, but wait it's more expensive so there is no discount

Yeah they offer employee pricing but they increase the interest rate. The same thing happened to me when I ordered my mustang I had the regular pricing then when it was shipped the employee pricing was on. So yes the car was cheaper but the interest rate went up 2%

It's just a gimmick " get them with a cheaper price but we get back the lost with the interest"
Why would you care about their interest rate, and what makes you think they are going to raise it?

OMG every f*****g way to get you. I would confront him big time. IDK about where you live but where I live this is totally illegal. IDK the name of that dealer but I would never go there.

Like I said in my previous post My dealer did not change the price I really had the employee discount which was about 2.5K under the price I had when I signed the contract. It was just the interest rate that changed.

Because that is what they did. I signed the contract on 2/20/2024 and if my memory is good it was 3.9%. When I took delivery of the car. I had the choice of using the original price I had and keep that interest rate or go with the employee discount which was about 2.5k lower but use the new interest rate which was about 5.9%.

And Idk about you but I can't pay a 70K car cash so I had to get some financing. Lucky you if you don't care about the rate, but most of us do.

Find a dealer that won't gouge you.
Becoming increasingly difficult when they are incentivized to gouge lol and even then the new msrp will be higher

My point was, there are other places to get a loan than Ford Credit, or whatever bank your dealer uses to get a kickback from at your expense.

key word "assembles" all their shit is made in Mexico, expect price hikes after this promo
We produce the HVAC for 70% of all North American market Ford/Lincoln SUVs, light trucks (F150 to F450) and Mustang. We literally only have two components that go into all the HVACs for all these vehicles that comes from overseas and a small percentage of components that come from Mexico. The majority of our components - anywhere from ~80 or more per HVAC - are sourced from US suppliers. We have very few components that we have to contend with the tariffs on.
funny thing is, some of the vehicles included in the promotion are not made in the US. Maverick, Mach-E, and Bronco Sport are made in Mexico, Lincoln Nautilus is made in China, and probably some others i forgot
But for some of those vehicles, major components are manufactured here in the US and shipped to those other countries for final assembly.

For example, the standard engine in the Maverick is the 2.0L EcoBoose. It is produced in Cleveland, OH and Valencia, Spain (for non NA and SA markets).

Exactly. But Ford marketing is hoping the general public doesn’t know this. But without dealer participation the prom is just a joke. Ford fail!!
So you think a dealership will choose to make nothing by not selling a vehicle vs normal AZ Plan sale profit (mostly delear holdback) plus the additional 5% incentive (profit) on one sold under this program?

You're not much of a business person, are you?

Just spoke with my dealership; r.e. this topic. They are a participating dealer in the 4/3 to 6/2 employee pricing promotion.
Most if not all dealerships WILL participate.

When the dealers do big discounts they often go below A/Z plan

And there's almost always deals better than X plan (which I don't get why people get so excited about X plan)

First, Ford Motor Company (the manufacturer) and Ford Credit are not one in the same.

Next, why would you bother going through Ford Credit? I've bought well over a dozen cars/trucks in the last ~20 years and always go through my credit union. Navy Federal is at 4.09% right now while Ford Credit is upwards of 7% or more. Or pay cash.

I don't know about the US for credit rate, but here in Quebec only the dealers offer a way better rate than any other institution. The best rate I could get was roughly 8.2% compare to the 5.9 at ford when I bought the car.

Today the best rate is about 7.2 so...
Credit union are ALWAYS less than Ford Credit for me/us (Michigan). Unless/except if Ford Credit is doing a special 0% promo.

When did Ford get rid of Ford Credit?
