Official INTENSE LIME YELLOW Mustang S650 Thread

i dont see a thread about this color yet, so im starting one because my work just got one in over the weekend

here it is between a Carbonized Grey Mustang and Ruby Red Super Duty.
i can honestly say i really dont like this color, its like yellow but the paint itself is somehow overexposed. i tried my best to make the picture match what i see.
edit: it looks like this one may have been misbuilt with Nite Pony headlights

This is the first real picture of this color on a Mustang that I’ve seen. I’m not a fan either, but at least it isn’t another greyscale color.

I thought I read that all new 25s have the NPP headlights, but I could be wrong.

the grey one to the right is also a 2025. the worsr part is, it looks like Ford may have sent us not one, but three with the wrong headlights. still investigating so far, though

They ran out of the other headlights and said f it, just use what we have...

If those are recent builds, check the front fender liners, someone said they are closing up the holes in there on the new builds... not sure this is true...

Well the fender liner thing was not correct at all then. What a bummer.

But that color is now officially the worst on the Mustang. I would see this going on many rental cars though.

Oh man, what a bummer, that was the only part of the NPP that I wanted on my 24... One day I may bite the bullet and spend the ridiculous amount of $ on them and replace mine...

i dont know if this is true, but i will be getting in contact with Ford sometime today to find out for sure. ECAT lists a different headlight part

also, i just checked, out of 12 2025 models on our front line, 11 have silver headlights. the one that doesnt is a nite pony

They gave that ugly yellow car the nite pony headlights to compensate the horrible look of the car

Some very early Job 1 2025s have the standard headlights. There were 25s popping up for sale all around the Greater Detroit area with the silver headlights shortly before Ford announced that all of them were getting NPP-spec from that point forward. If I had to guess, the Gray one there is probably an early build, but Ford and the OP know best.

As for the color, I personally like it but not nearly as much as some others. They overdid it with the green hues, and the amount of flake in the paint isn't enough to compensate. It's not terrible, but it could have been much better IMO.

Let us know. All 2025 that I have seen on the lot have had tinted headlights so I dont know

My Splashy Yellow with sparkles is way more beautiful.
