What does everyone do with the carpet panel under car after installing the jacking rails on dark horse. I'm thinking of trimming it or just leaving it off

I found on my GT Premium which has them to just trim the front part as seen on a steeda video but leave the rest. Slightly cantilevered due to panel but holds it up tight. Would rather the protection it offers than not. Still works like a charm with my vevor 7k lift.

Steeda has a video on how to trim the panel.

I just trimmed the panel where the bolts go in.
The carpet is under the rail with four screws; how do you get it back off, remove the rail, then the carpet and reinstall rail? Or do you not put the screws back in and just loosen the rails to pull it out

I believe just put the rail on, the rail won't touch those bolts as your only mounting the ends. If I remember I trail fitted and checked before installation.
