Thanks to @roadpilot for alerting me to the behavior of the Ford Mothership.
Just as an academic exercise, I pulled down my ABD just this morning and bumped it up against my first set of values I download (19 July 24) when I start making minor FORScan edits. Sure enough, within as little as 36...
Add: radio station channel settings and Android disconnects (on one occasion, my phone was removed from the system).
Happens inconsistently and infrequently, e.g., after random stops (gas stations, grocery, etc) and every once in a while after sitting overnight in my garage). It has happened...
I finalized WAL/WALF on ~31 July. I had to reedit all relevant addresses save 7D0-09-05--the "C" value in the second group of the address remained resident.
I finalized Approach Lighting on ~31 Jul--all relevant addresses values remained resident.
I disabled Auto Relock on 3 Aug--that setting...
Just a note, but the latest update (24-PU0201-DGB-FX) reset my walk away lock function (and horn chirp) back to the as-built-data defaults. However, my approach lighting edits remained as did turning off auto relock.
I asked the guys at EMP the same question before committing to the delete. They suggested and I can confirm there is no discernable increase in NVH. Even when I drove around w/o the rear section installed, I couldn't detect any measurable increase in noise (exhaust, drone, road, etc). Based on...
Put one in for our Corgi (although, she prefers riding up front) 😜
I added 3" cushion but we are looking for something like a cradle/dog bed with sides so she's not sliding around.
Insightful and enlightening comments all around. If yet another user experience matters to you, I ran AS on my Super Snake and Winters for my commutes (25 miles one way to the Air Force Academy, where I taught English many years ago). My house was at about 7,500, so very often I was ascending...
I guess I'm reminded of David Hume's point about the unnatural state of ownership, namely, "that the principal disturbance in society arises from those goods [Mustang Dark Horses in our case], which we call external, and from their looseness and easy transition from one person to another; they...
Just a follow up from my last post at last post.
I noticed that after I successfully enabled A/WAL, my DH was auto-re-locking at what I thought was about 30ish second. Turns out, my ABD values for address 726-58-02 were 0002 0004 008D. Prior to enabling A/WAL, I don't recall the car...
Ugh, padawan learner! I missed the "1" in the 3rd group at address 726-97-01.
Horn chirp works. The APIM had been displaying the "Audible Feedback" option (showing it was enabled), so I had been wrongly assuming my DH was just "different." Nope, it was me.
Many thanks and may the force be with...
Okay, first things first. Thank you for helping me correct the right addresses. However, my edits did not yield any discernable effects. WAL works; AWALF does not. I've updated my attached notes, but here's a summary:
Recommended edits:

I'm going to stop fiddling for now, but I thought I'd post the results of my fumbling foray into FORScan editing. My WAL feature works but without the audible horn chirp. My Approach Detection "works" but not automatically, i.e., I have to press my FOB's unlock button--no biggie there.
My notes...
Yeh, copy. Just noting that FORScan did not recognize my DH until the this most recent update. Until the most recent version, I had to set up a profile using a "fake" strat code--I just used the one FORScan suggests as an example. Really, all along, the profile (strat code) I used didn't really...
I'll compare to mine when I'm back at my desk. But that list is going to far exceed mine.
1435hrs. Ok...back for sec, then I'm splitting for a hike in the mountains.
Within what I think is the address range (6F6-XX-XX) for this function, there's definitely some differences. The two I...
Yup, I assumed as much. Mine (standard DH, which did not come w/approach lighting) just doesn't work that way. Ford's tutorial indicates otherwise, as well. Looking for someone who has had to configure this feature in FORScan to see what I've done wrong.
Mine is enabled. However, it doesn't work "automatically." Again, I may have missed and/or misconfigured a setting somewhere.
My notes are attached (see last few slides).
