Customer: A/C compressor failed on my 2024.
Ford: Please purchase a 2025.
Ford will implement the same strategy it did when it came to down to going with either an American made Tremec manual transmission or the Chinese made Getrag MT82. Seat upgrades for 2025 Mustangs will feature Xilong Lingchun "Profermence" seats.
I keep a pretty close eye on the car market as its related to my job. Where I live (Canada), it always seems cars beyond the $70K price point tend to move very slowly around here.
I remember seeing some fully specd out 2023 Mach 1s on dealer lots that had been there nearly 400 days. Dealers...
Wow, this is such a disappointment. I was actually waiting on the 2025s in hopes some things would be addressed, one of them being that rust promoting hole in the front fender, now to have to pay for any color other than black, grey, white and silver and a bump to the base GT msrp. That's ok...
That is the one thing I hate about the Mustang after the coyote. It became a high rpm revver and the cheap chinese MT82 killed my interest in any manual that did not have the tremec. So I was left getting the A10 s550 and I find it so "sleepy" if that is the right word whereas everytime I get to...
You can always turn the wheel for better acccess while installing and then turn it back straight to have the foam block positioned against the tire for curing.
A guy I know bought a used 2016 GT350 with 6,000 kms and the engine let go after two weeks of owning it. Paid close to $30k (Canadian) to get a new engine installed. Just brutal.
This reminds me of the rust issue with the Challengers due to the brilliant idea of filling the area behind the doors with foam for sound deadening. The foam traps moisture and the panel rusts from the inside out. This is the reason that I could never bring myself to buy a Challenger.
I have been holding off on my order because of this issue in particular. Not about to drop $70K (Canadian) on a car and have to use duct tape to cover up an obvious design flaw.
I am looking to place an order for a manual GT at some point. There were some early reviews commenting that the MT82 this time around shifts better than previous iterations with some issues of the clutch not coming back up quick enough when shifting fast. Now that some time has passed, how has...
I think its a combindation of weight and the high revving coyote that makes these cars lack that low end power feel. It completely baffles my mind how my friends old 3 valve mustang feels so responsive while my 21 a10 GT even with all that extra power, feels so muted. Different animals I suppose.
