2024 Mustang GT A/C belt broke

Parts are already being discontinued and unavailable as part of planned obsolescence. Customer: A/C compressor failed on my 2024. Ford: Please purchase a 2025.

    Another one bites the dust.

Ford will implement the same strategy it did when it came to down to going with either an American made Tremec manual transmission or the Chinese made Getrag MT82. Seat upgrades for 2025 Mustangs will feature Xilong Lingchun "Profermence" seats.

2025 Mustang Build & Price Online Configurator Now Live

I keep a pretty close eye on the car market as its related to my job. Where I live (Canada), it always seems cars beyond the $70K price point tend to move very slowly around here. I remember seeing some fully specd out 2023 Mach 1s on dealer lots that had been there nearly 400 days. Dealers...

2025 Mustang Order Guide and Price List Released

And just like that, I am no longer considering the S650 to replace my s550. Gonna keep an eye out for a c8.

2025 Mustang Build & Price Online Configurator Now Live

Wow, this is such a disappointment. I was actually waiting on the 2025s in hopes some things would be addressed, one of them being that rust promoting hole in the front fender, now to have to pay for any color other than black, grey, white and silver and a bump to the base GT msrp. That's ok...

XPEL Ceramic Coating on my 2024 Mustang GT

I have to agree. This is probably the worst CS offered to date.

Ford Asks Mustang Owners To Swap Engine Head

Is this what you would call, 24 Hours of Lemons?

Shifer vibrates on idle and 2 to 3 gear grinding sound

Oh boy, sounds like classic MT82 issues are starting to happen as these cars get more miles on them.

I got to drive a S650 for the first time recently.. I'm underwhelmed

That is the one thing I hate about the Mustang after the coyote. It became a high rpm revver and the cheap chinese MT82 killed my interest in any manual that did not have the tremec. So I was left getting the A10 s550 and I find it so "sleepy" if that is the right word whereas everytime I get to...

    Front inner wheel well issues

You can always turn the wheel for better acccess while installing and then turn it back straight to have the foam block positioned against the tire for curing.

    Dark Horse vs Shelby

A guy I know bought a used 2016 GT350 with 6,000 kms and the engine let go after two weeks of owning it. Paid close to $30k (Canadian) to get a new engine installed. Just brutal.

    Front inner wheel well issues

This reminds me of the rust issue with the Challengers due to the brilliant idea of filling the area behind the doors with foam for sound deadening. The foam traps moisture and the panel rusts from the inside out. This is the reason that I could never bring myself to buy a Challenger.

    Front inner wheel well issues

I have been holding off on my order because of this issue in particular. Not about to drop $70K (Canadian) on a car and have to use duct tape to cover up an obvious design flaw.

MT82 - How are the shifts?

I am looking to place an order for a manual GT at some point. There were some early reviews commenting that the MT82 this time around shifts better than previous iterations with some issues of the clutch not coming back up quick enough when shifting fast. Now that some time has passed, how has...

New to Mustangs, New to Car Scene

I think its a combindation of weight and the high revving coyote that makes these cars lack that low end power feel. It completely baffles my mind how my friends old 3 valve mustang feels so responsive while my 21 a10 GT even with all that extra power, feels so muted. Different animals I suppose.

Lots of unsold dark horse on ground

Ugh me too, especially the vagina looking emblem.

To the Road Course (Buttonwillow track) with the 2024 Mustang GT - Overheating and Clutch Issues Aplenty!

Ahh behold the beauty that is the MT82. Nothing says quality like a Made in China stamp.
