Ford will implement the same strategy it did when it came to down to going with either an American made Tremec manual transmission or the Chinese made Getrag MT82. Seat upgrades for 2025 Mustangs will feature Xilong Lingchun "Profermence" seats.

Well, going bankrupt does not mean out of business. Just means they have lot of debt. Lots of restructuring and in-court negotiations to come but hopefully they can stay in business

They are in bankruptcy but still operating. Worse off someone buys them. They were bought by an American company back in 2020.

Personally I'm not upset by this. They made uncomfortable seats even though they are good for the track.


I'm sure someone will step up and provide Ford with a suitable option...maybe even a cheaper option to match the rest of Ford's QwaLiTy.

I agree, the active X seats are comfy but not Trac seats. But my 2017 focus st3 had nice leather Recaros they were comfortable. Held up well. You never moved in corners. But I'm skinny, but getting in and out was a pain.

Camaro has power Recaros and heated and cool in ZL1. Fords to cheap to do that in the Mustang.
