Thanks for the link! I thought I finally had a breakthrough to get the taillights to work haha. Back to the data; I'm determined now! This stuff intrigues me too much...
Everything in the BCMB seemed to line up between the 2 AB's in terms of lighting but I plan on parsing that again.
What I...
So I started revisiting the tailight animation as my car is starting to thaw out in storage and did a deep dive between as built data between a 301a base GT and a Darkhorse and found these:
LDCMA
6F6-05-05 0700 0000 000D - BASE GT
6F6-05-05 0700 0000 020F - DH

Yea this was me. I don't have feedback enabled just WAL and it works like a charm. Unless the dealership secretly updated my BCM for me (which I HIGHLY doubt because I've only brought it in for the clutch line recall and 2 oil changes)
Thanks! I have a base 301a and was trying to figure out how to add the animation because they just flash with no special sequence. Might just be a limitation to the base models
Has anyone found anything for the tail animations? I was poking around for a while and failed hardcore and then life got in the way. Gotta love it haha
Another update. I jumped in to the easy mode version of the APIM and BCM and enabled vehicle approach (APIM: Approach Detection Control Function to ENABLED and BdyCM: Approach Detection - Vehicled to ENABLED) and the values are close but no cigar. When I walked up the car it popped the trunk...
Quick update:
I have a job 1 (without BCM update, unless it was OTA that I didn't know about) 2024 GT 301a 6 spd and I attempted the walk away lock and it is working properly.
Walk Away Lock (Job2 Mustang or Job1 that had a BCM update)

According to the spreadsheet mine is a zero, which would indicate a flat eq. I'm kind of surprised by this so I'm wondering if the value is in a different spot than previously.
I ended going with 9 myself but I tried 2 and 3 and the tri lights just stay on for much longer than I wanted. I didn’t time it but I didn’t care for it haha. I wonder if it has something to do with the approach lighting but I’m not sure fully. Mine is a 301a base model.
I can confirm the updated version of FORScan allows the changing of welcome lighting for the front headlights (I still need to find the values for the tails)

Changing the value to 2 enables the Darkhorse headlight...
@DCBuckeye did you flatten the EQ as well? From what I've been reading up on the rear speakers are completely choked off with stock eq settings

0 is a completely flattened EQ
I'm going to start playing around this week on my stock 9 speaker (301a, same 9 speaker as...
I wonder if they are doing that to keep NASCAR eligibility for teams in 2025. As of now the options are running a Corvette (unlikely) or a Cadillac CT4-V or CT5-V Blackwing. No other cars in their lineup
I think a bit (or a bunch) of the increase has to do with the results of the UAW strike resolution from last year. Not seeing a lot of folks mentioning that...
Has anyone started playing around with flattening the EQ on ACM 727-01-02 on the 650’s yet? I have a 301a 9 speaker setup that I want to try to liven up a bit and this was a good fix on my 2017 F150. I’m going to dust off my OBDlink MX and renew my license soon…
FYI this is what I’m referring...
Mine's not a premium but I have square 19x9.5 Tech 5's +33 on 275/40/19 Nitto 555 G2's and I couldn't be happier. I think this is the perfect offset. If they are out of stock it's worth the wait IMO
I can't wait for more info! My goal is to road trip mine down from Upstate NY (hopefully next year) and go Spec 1 package via Built by RTR. Make a mini vacation out of it and visit family for the week while it's at the shop!
