I can confirm the updated version of FORScan allows the changing of welcome lighting for the front headlights (I still need to find the values for the tails)

LDCMB:
6F6-05-05 **** **** **** *X**
LDCMA:
6F7-05-05 **** **** **** *X**

Changing the value to 2 enables the Darkhorse headlight welcome effect on unlock. 3 enables the Premium sequence

LDCMB:
6F6-05-05 *X**
LDCMA:
6F7-05-06 *X**

Changing the value to 9 does a standard time out
2 and 3 appears to make the tri light stay on for longer duration.

Edit: Just realized I flip flopped the * and the X format...

I am currently using 9 as per a youtuber. So you're saying changing it to 2 or 3 will make it dance longer? Sorry, newbie here.

I ended going with 9 myself but I tried 2 and 3 and the tri lights just stay on for much longer than I wanted. I didn’t time it but I didn’t care for it haha. I wonder if it has something to do with the approach lighting but I’m not sure fully. Mine is a 301a base model.

Mines is also a 301a. Do you know if the welcome light would work on ours? Anything else cool you wanna share? Lol...

I’m still playing around haha

I was looking to se if I could flatten the EQ but, according to the spreadsheet on page 1, it’s already flat.

Is there a setting to revert back to the S550 welcome? (just wake up and shoe the projection ponies)

Just a follow up from my last post at last post.

I noticed that after I successfully enabled A/WAL, my DH was auto-re-locking at what I thought was about 30ish second. Turns out, my ABD values for address 726-58-02 were 0002 0004 008D. Prior to enabling A/WAL, I don't recall the car auto-re-locking. What's weird (perhaps), I didn't touch any of the values for the addresses used to enable AR as described in the (magnificent) Livinitup database. In fact, my DH has AR basically disabled by default.

So, the only value I changed to enable and/or disable AR was in the last position of the first group for address 725-58-02 (my as built value was "2," which I changed to "0"--not a fan of AR).

I tested and was able to set for 30 sec, then 45, then Null.

As built:
726-20-01: 0000 0000 004E
726-27-01: 0001 1401 006B
726-58-02: 0002 0004 008D
7D0-09-01: 6B13 4B28 8F61

Present configuration:
726-20-01: 0000 0000 004E
726-27-01: 0101 1401 006C
726-58-02: 0000 0004 008D (the only address/value I had to change)
7D0-09-01: 6B17 4B28 8F65

Quick update:

I have a job 1 (without BCM update, unless it was OTA that I didn't know about) 2024 GT 301a 6 spd and I attempted the walk away lock and it is working properly.

Walk Away Lock (Job2 Mustang or Job1 that had a BCM update)BCM726-91-01xxxxx1xxxx--
BCM726-97-02x1x1x1x1x1--

Another update. I jumped in to the easy mode version of the APIM and BCM and enabled vehicle approach (APIM: Approach Detection Control Function to ENABLED and BdyCM: Approach Detection - Vehicled to ENABLED) and the values are close but no cigar. When I walked up the car it popped the trunk instead of unlocking the car haha.

Much like the GOAT modes on the Bronco it looks like us Base folk will be able to get some of the Premium features.

I'll have to research to see what AS BUILT lines get modified when time allows.

Has anyone started playing around with flattening the EQ on ACM 727-01-02 on the 650’s yet? I have a 301a 9 speaker setup that I want to try to liven up a bit and this was a good fix on my 2017 F150. I’m going to dust off my OBDlink MX and renew my license soon…

FYI this is what I’m referring to:

727-01-02 x*xx. 0=Flat EQ
1=Premium EQ #1 7=Audiophile EQ#3 D-F=misconfiguration
2=Premium EQ #2 8=Audiophile EQ#4
3=Premium EQ #3 9=Audiophile EQ#5
4=Premium EQ#4 A=Audiophile EQ#6
5=Audiophile EQ#1 B=Audiophile EQ#7
6=Audiophile EQ#2 C=Audiophile EQ#8

Update:
The spreadsheet is indicating the number is in a different spot now. This is the one listed for the 2024:

727-01-02xxx*xxxxxx--0 =EQS Flat EQ7 =EQS EQ #7
1 =EQS EQ #18 =EQS EQ #8
2 =EQS EQ #29 =EQS EQ #9
3 =EQS EQ #3A =EQS EQ #10
4 =EQS EQ #4B =EQS EQ #11
5 =EQS EQ #5C =EQS EQ #12
6 =EQS EQ #6
I want to know more about this as well. I would like to change the woofer EQ if possible.

Just a note, but the latest update (24-PU0201-DGB-FX) reset my walk away lock function (and horn chirp) back to the as-built-data defaults. However, my approach lighting edits remained as did turning off auto relock.

How long ago did you make the WAL/WALF changes compared to the approach lighting and auto relock changes?

One thing to keep in mind is that, if you make a change, that change will eventually BECOME your AsBuilt data (as stored @ the Ford mothership). There is no set time period that determines WHEN this happens, but the car eventually reports those changes back up and they are what gets stored as your As-Built.

So ... if you made the one changes months ago, but only make the others recently, that can explain why some persisted and others did not.

I finalized WAL/WALF on ~31 July. I had to reedit all relevant addresses save 7D0-09-05--the "C" value in the second group of the address remained resident.
I finalized Approach Lighting on ~31 Jul--all relevant addresses values remained resident.
I disabled Auto Relock on 3 Aug--that setting remained resident.

Again, this just highlights my padawan status and lack of street cred :) But, glad I saved the original ABD prior to making any changes.

Ford mothership...yikes, is that like an Imperial Star Destroyer kind of mothership, I wonder...
